More than eye shadows and crowns
The consultant in Style and Image, Jim Avila, has definitely a lot to teach us about bridal looks.
But since he will be giving one-on-one consultations about it this Sunday, during the VIP Bridal Lucheon at Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco, we asked him to tell us here what are the most valuable tips for brides on the Big W-day, besides hair and makeup care.
Now speaking, Jim Avila:
1. Do not and I repeat do not have a massage on the morning of your wedding, I have seen it happen many times that is causes negative reactions.
2. Be sure to have 2 pair of shoes to wear for the day, rarely can you wear one pair all day long.
3. Allow yourself to see the groom BEFORE the ceremony, I know it is the tradition no to, but 5 minutes to check in with eachother takes ALL the stress and pressure away from both of you an a much calmer walk down the aisle and a stress free ceremony…In any case it is your wedding and it should be your choice to see him or not!
I know these things sound strange for a make-up and hair person to discuss, but these are things I discuss with all my brides.
